“My passion Beyond Satisfaction!”

There are a myriad of teachers striving to make a difference but there are only a few teachers who stand out as a beacon of inspiration and transformation. There has been a growing demand for good teachers in an ever-evolving education system and now there has been a recent shift towards more student-centric approaches, incorporating interactive and experiential learning methods.

There is definitely a transformation in the student-teacher relationship right from the time we were students to now. In today’s scenario, the relationship is much more coactive and synergistic, and the teacher can never be laid back. With varied experiences in different fields like media and content development, I must admit there has been no other field that gives me as much satisfaction as teaching. Being a teacher is like reinventing myself at every juncture, and teaching, for me, has become a mere addiction.

Understanding the evolving needs of students, teachers have to take a step forward to introduce and invent different teaching methodologies. In this regard, I have focused on the holistic development of my students, placing equal emphasis on academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth. I have always taken the time to understand the unique needs and aspirations of each of my students, providing personalized guidance and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. Since the students come from different backgrounds, I feel it is my responsibility as a teacher to make them feel comfortable, valued, and respected in the classroom.

I truly believe that the best can be churned out from a teacher only when there is reciprocal extracted from the students. The more they raise doubts, the more time the teacher spends on research. I have always ensured to make my classes more interactive. It is also important to have an involved discussion when talking about any topic and to get them to do research on small topics related to the subjects.

At the end of the day, what gives me the most satisfaction is when my students tell me that they still refer to the notes I gave them in school, notes they continue to use to this day. They never fail to wish me on Teacher’s Day. This, for me, is the greatest reward, one that can never be compared to anything else in the world.
