National Science Day, observed on February 28, commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman and celebrates India’s scientific achievements. The theme for 2024 is ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’.
