Drawing inspiration from the life of Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta, the Founding Chairman of Lupin Ltd, whose optimism, vision, and zeal for a scientifically advanced India have endured in a corporation that works to provide affordable medical products in over 50 countries. Taking his vision forward, Neev Academy introduces The Desh Bandhu Gupta Science Scholarship to nurture science minds for a changing India.
This is an initiative to encourage young minds with a passion for science, to pursue their journey in IB. It is designed to recognize students who demonstrate a promise for academic and extra-curricular excellence in the field of science, both inside and outside the classroom.
A merit-based, 4-year high-school scholarship that ranges from partial to full tuition, which is available to students from Grade 9. Recipients must continue to uphold the academic excellence that merits the scholarship, to remain qualified for it until the time of graduation from Neev.
This scholarship is made possible by a generous donation from Mr. Nilesh Gupta, Managing Director, Lupin Ltd. in honour of his father Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students have to clear Neev Academy’s eligibility test during the admission process including an additional science assessment and need a strong academic performance in the past years in the sciences along with other subjects.
