The scholarships aim to encourage students’ development in all aspects
NIIT University has announced scholarships for the year 2023. The scholarship under the Scholar Search Program of NU, are available for BBA, MBA, and BTech programs in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), CyS (Cyber Security), BT (Biotechnology) and integrated MSc (Master of Computer Science).
The students’ academic performance in class 10th and 12th or their performance in national-level specified entrance examinations are the basis on which the scholarships are provided. The students will receive an annual scholarship of Rs 50000 to 200000 on their tuition fees based on their merit. Exceptional merit holders and top students across the country will be awarded Special scholarships, which cover their complete tuition fee in each program. Applicants who have demonstrated excellence in any area of co-curricular activities, such as Sports, Music, Fine Arts, Theatre, Dance or Social Service by participating and receiving individual awards at the School levels, Board levels, National levels, or at the International levels, will receive scholarships called CoX. Students who meet any one of the criteria will also be awarded Special Fee Waivers on tuition fees.
The students should maintain AGPA (Annual Grade Point Average) or CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 6.0 as per the then applicable university Academic Policy for the scholarships to be available to the student during the full course time period in which the student is enrolled. The scholarship in the EAD mode will be awarded on the basis of the performance of the student in class X, assuming that it will be equal in class XII. If the performance of the student in class XII is better than class X, the scholarship will be upgraded and if the student’s performance in class XII is poorer than in class X, still the scholarship will not be downgraded.
