Not grades but marks for first semester CBSE students

CBSE students will now get marks for their first semester exams instead of grades. The instruction was given by the board which also said that the students will get their grades once they completely appear their first and second academic semesters.

The CBSE Board has also asked teachers and the school community to not to use words like fail, compartment or improvement while declaring results.

The schools should also have to conduct and finish the practical, projects and internals before the exams.

Students form class X and XII are about to appear their first semester on 16th of November. Recently, CBSE announced the schedule for exams and students are on their way to appear it all prepared. This is the first time that CBSE is conducting the exams in two different phases for minor and major subjects respectively.
