Odisha Board denies claims of Mathematics question paper leak

On Monday, 26th February, 2024, the Board of Secondary Education in Odisha refuted claims of the leak of the  Mathematics question paper for the current class 10 board examination. Board president Srikant Tarai said that the examination was conducted fairly and emphasized that the question paper had not been compromised. Tarai urged students to participate in the examination confidently and without any uncertainty.

Initially, purported photos of the mathematics question paper had become viral on social media. On Friday, 23rd of February, 2024, allegations surfaced regarding the leakage of the English question paper. However, the board has dismissed these claims.

Over 5.5 lakh students are participating in the Class 10 examinations, taking place at 3,047 centers throughout the state. The examination commenced on February 20 and is scheduled to conclude on March 4.
