Over 300 Indian schools attend Brainfeed 7th National Conference 2.0

New Delhi Feb 6, 2020: Brainfeed Conference was one of the series of educational conferences organised by Brainfeed Magazine Group. The motto of the conference was to bring together the teachers, principals, management, decision and policymakers to jointly discuss the challenges, solutions, and innovative ideas in the field of education. Also, the conference awarded Top 100 Preschools of India and Top 500 Schools of India under the banner ‘Brainfeed School Excellence Awards.’

The theme of the conference was ‘Teaching, Learning and Leadership’, wherein the Guest of Honour Premchand Palety, Chief Executive, C-Fore and Dr Ashok K Pandey, Director, Ahlcon Group of Schools took an active part. Dr Ashok K Pandey said in his exclusive address, “Leadership is a quality that can be cultivated wherein schools can play an active role.”

The keynote address was delivered by S N Sahu, Former Joint Secretary, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India. He spoke on the ideals of Gandhi and how are they still relevant to lead a fulfilling life.

The celebrity speaker of the day was Pratibha Prahlad, Festival Director, Delhi International Arts Festival. She said, “The value of arts in education is irreplaceable. The onus lies on the schools to introduce arts in the day-to-day education curriculum.”

Other esteemed guests included Prof(Dr) Madan Mohan Pant, Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, IGNOU and Arijit Ghosh, Vice-President, Education Quality Foundation of India.

Brainfeed Lifetime Achievement Awards 2020 were presented to Dina Nath Arora, Founder Chairman, Mount Abu Group of Schools, Damodar Prasad Goyal, President, Society for Unaided Private Schools of Rajasthan, Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Principal, Springdales School, New-Delhi and Bijoya Baksi, Director, Training and Enrichment, Navrachna Education Society.

Brainfeed EduLeader of the Year Awards 2020 were conferred to Commander V K Banga Principal, The Maan School, Neera Singh, Principal, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’s Public School, Jodhpur. Dr Kulbhushan Sharma, President, NISA was given special recognition.

Special Guest, D C Sharma, Principal, Vidyasagar School, Indore Madhya Pradesh conducted a joint discussion and Q&A session for school leaders where the topic was ‘Challenges that schools face.’ Sharma concluded, “Value-based education is what that every school has to impart. While it is a major challenge on how every school achieves it, this is something that cannot be compromised on. ”

The sponsors of the conference demonstrated presentations that informed the audience about the latest edu-based products and software. Importantly, Brainwonders, the platinum partner of the conference spoke on ‘the ability of psychometrics such as fingerprints to predict the character of a student and thereby the suitable careers.”
