‘Parents undergo painful process of arranging funds for school education’: Vivek Oberoi at Financepeer event
New Delhi, July 28, 2020: Hundreds of parents shared their concerns about school fees financing during these difficult times, especially after many received pay cuts and faced job losses. Organized by Financepeer, a Google incubated school fee financing Company, the virtual event saw participation from families seeking advice on school fees and convenience of payments. The parents also got a chance to interact with actor and educationist Vivek Oberoi, who shared expert advice on managing finances for school fees.
Parents actively participated of how lockdown has affected their finances. Addressing the event, renowned actor and educationist Vivek Oberoi said, “As an educationist, I feel that lot of parents undergo painful process of arranging funds for their child’s education. Also, parents have to pay large chunk as advance fees in many schools and educational institutions. It was great to respond to so many concerns of the parents who were a part of this event.”
The event was attended by 243 parents which created a platform for the parents to share their concerns related to education and school fees financing. With online learning being the new normal and parents trying to adapt to the new learning system, the event also emphasized on how parents can adapt to the changing paradigm more effectively.
Commenting on the success of the virtual event, CEO of Financepeer, Mr Rohit Gajbhiye said, “This pandemic has been difficult for everyone- emotionally as well as financially.
