The poor pass percentage in Indore is distinct in four government schools that have witnessed a remarkably low below 30 percent pass percentage. A few schools had pass percentage way below 50. The academic performance has propelled the school education department to conduct a meeting on Tuesday, July 28.

In Government HS Schools Sagrod, pass percentage has dwindled below 7 percent followed by Government HS School Baduam which had a pass percentage of 14. In the city, the third and fourth lowest percentage has emerged from Government HS School Kalakund and HS School Piplya Khurd with 22 and 24 percent respectively.

“While the action against these schools will be taken only by the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, these schools have been asked to make an action plan for the improvement of their result in board in the next year,” commented Narendra Jain, Assistant District Project Coordinator.

Among the other schools with poor performance, Juna Rasala Government HS Schools had seen zero pass percent last year.

The class X board results were declared on July, 4 and as many as 560,474 students had cleared the test out of 893,336 appeared. Close to 222,994 students failed to clear the exam and 8.091 students did not appear at the exams.
