Bengaluru-based research institute Prayoga, recognised by DSIR, Government of India, has announced the fourth edition of Anveshana, a free research programme for students in grades 9 to 12. This unique initiative offers young minds the opportunity to engage in hands-on scientific research across critical fields such as Green Chemistry, Advanced Materials, Earth Sciences, and Agriculture Sciences under the mentorship of senior researchers.
Since its launch, Anveshana has successfully completed 20 research projects involving 60 students, leading to eight international publications in prestigious journals affiliated with Harvard University and Oxford University Press. The programme aims to foster innovation and inspire a passion for scientific exploration.
Applications for Anveshana 2025 are now open, with the deadline set for 24 February 2025. Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews on 6–7 March, with research projects commencing in April and concluding with a final viva in August at the Prayoga campus. Participation is free, and schools are encouraged to nominate students, as published research credits also enhance their academic reputation.
Students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, gain mentorship from leading scientists, and contribute to real-world scientific challenges. Interested candidates can apply at www.prayoga.org.in/anveshana.
