Harjot Singh Bains, the state’s minister of education, began the Admission Campaign-2023 from the districts of Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Mohali on Wednesday with the goal of increasing enrollment in public schools in Punjab. Also, he signalled the admittance vans to depart from every district in the state.
According to Bains, serious efforts are being made to transform the state’s educational system and bring about qualitative improvements, and the Punjab administration is working to ensure the futures of the thousands of students enrolled in public schools are bright.
According to him, the government’s goal in launching the admission campaign-2023 is to raise the number of kids enrolled in schools by regaining the trust of parents in public institutions.
Bains provided more information, stating that the education department had developed a two-day programme in minor districts and a three-day programme in large districts for distribution through mobile vans to promote the admission campaign and raise public awareness. Several actions have been done to ensure the campaign’s success.
Bains hoped that all of the instructors, departmental representatives, and parents would work together to improve the educational system of the Punjabi government schools.
