Re-opening of schools from class 1 to 5 announced in Karnataka.

After Pandemic hit the world, students were relying on online education from 2020. The Karnataka Government has been giving instructions to be reciprocated by the school to follow Covid norms. They had permitted and announced the re-opening of school from class 1 to 5 on October 25th, 2021.

Re-opening of school from class 9 to 12 were announced on August 23rd and class 6 to 8 from September 6th. This time, the Department of Primary and Secondary Education issued SOPs whilst strictly following Covid guidelines. Parent’s consent letters were also made mandatory for the physical classes.

The chief process is to hold screening for every student, including the staff members. Hand sanitizers will be provided, a physical distance check, 50 per cent classroom capacity and non-allowance of crowds and gatherings. were made necessary to be followed by the students.

Along with the guidelines, the staffs who are completely vaccinated with 2 doses will conduct classes from class 1 to 5.

Although pandemic turned situations and life upside down, education must go on in order to make this world a brighter place.
