Banaras Hindu University’s Department of Computer Science has launched a specialized training and six months certification program on Artificial Intelligence. Students interested in the same can visit the university’s official page textanalytics.in/ai/ where they can register for the program.
Registration for the same will commence on January 12 and continue till January 25 and the commencement of the academic session is scheduled for February 1. Classes will be conducted in the physical mode and will happen in the Institute of Science, Department of Computer Science and will be of three hours duration. It will take place only in the evenings, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Students from Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, and Technology are eligible for the course. Students in their final year of studies in any of the mentioned fields will also be considered provided they clear the aptitude test. Students will be evaluated through continuous assessments, and will only receive certificates on passing the tests with a minimum prescribed mark.
Participants will also be given a certificate of completion on completing the course. Students may also be provided with the option to get a certificate from NASSCOM, provided they do well in the evaluation test by the brand. Participation in the program is free of cost and is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
