The School Education Department, of the Government of Rajasthan, launched a ‘Safe School, Safe Rajasthan’ campaign on 26th August 2023. This initiative was envisaged to educate school students about ‘unsafe touch’. Over one lakh training sessions were conducted in 65,284 government schools of the state. In these sessions, over 57 lakh students were educated about ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’ on this single day.
According to Mr. Naveen Jain, Rajasthan School Education Department’s Government Secretary, special training sessions were organized in all government schools, of all the 50 districts, of Rajasthan from 8 a.m. till noon on this day. According to him, repeat training sessions of this campaign shall be organized, in all the state government schools, in October 2023 and January 2024.
According to another spokesperson, of the Rajasthan School Education Department, one training session was also organized at a private school. According to him, private schools in the state will also be included in this exemplary campaign, in the future.
