A private school in Karimnagar made over hundred students stand in the scorching heat with flags and placards for K T Rama Rao. They stood for over three hours at the TRS rally. A child rights Ngo filed a complaint at the Karimnagar One Town police station against Hiranmay Krishnaveni Talent School. After an internal inquiry conducted by the District Education Officer, cops filed the case under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act (Care and Protection of Children).
“The school was booked for causing physical suffering to children during the rally. The kids had to stand under scorching sun to welcome the TRS leader,” mentioned a police officer.
“Politicians using schoolchildren in their campaigns is shameful and schools are abusing children by sending them to political campaigns,” added Achyuta Rao of Balala Hakkula Sangham.
