School registrations will be cancelled if found complicit in cheating: Maharashtra

by admin

After a school in Ahamednagar, Maharashtra was found guilty of allowing students to cheat during an exam, Maharashtra minister, Varsha Gaikwad stated while addressing queries by the state legislative council that schools found complicit, will have their registrations cancelled.

“If a school is found involved in Class 10 exam paper leak, then it will lose its registration. If a school allows students to copy answers during examinations, the department will not grant an exam centre there next time,” the minister stated.

The home department has been requested by the school education department to provide extra security as every school hosts exams and have been turned into exam centres.
