Schools in Hyderabad are getting ready to witness the most historic event of soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 that is scheduled on 23rd August. With focus to stimulate inquisitiveness, motivate young minds and commemorate specific achievements of India, all teachers are combining national pride with learning and have inspired students to witness live streaming of the event in news channels and YouTube.
Manjushree A, school principal said that they hoped to show the event on big screens in their school, but the landing is at 6:04 pm, so all students are asked to watch the historic event at their homes with their families.

Anil Mathew, science teacher said that it is an extraordinary learning experience and a moment of enormous pride for the nation. It is hoped that this event ignites interest of several young children and encourages them to explore wonders of science as well as space.
Schools in Hyderabad are fabricating this gigantic event in their curriculum along with a multidisciplinary approach towards learning. However, certain schools have also dedicated their class time for discussion about the Chandrayaan-3 mission by exhibiting related videos to students, explaining complexities of lunar exploration. Such discussions would be going beyond all technical aspects and exploring both cultural as well as historical significance.
In addition to this, teachers have assigned homework to the students associated with upcoming landing. In their homework, students are asked to study and research about Chandrayaan-3 mission, understand its different aspects and objectives and present it in a creative manner. Moreover, certain schools have arranged quizzes the next day of landing, permitting students to test their latest knowledge.
Satyavathi Narayanan, teacher said that as the clock counts down to landing, they are getting ready for an inspiring and educational evening to motivate children to explore professions outside daily streams.
