On the 3rd anniversary of National Education Policy (NEP) 2023, 106 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) signed on the sidleines of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023.
106 MoUs have been signed by the Ministry of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship with several prestigious institutes and organisations on 30th July. The MoUS were signed on the occasion of 3rd anniversary of National Education Policy.
MoUs bounded partnerships with both private as well as public organisations to promote knowledge, research and innovation in various domains.
The occasion was held in the presence of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Subhas Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, Smt. Annapurna Devi, and Minister of State for Education and Shri Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Education.
Under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), 15 MoUs were signed dealing with various Sector Skill providers and Institutes for education and skill development along with capacity building and skill assessment.
The entities with which these MoUs has been signed are Atal Innovation Mission, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Apparel Made-Ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council, Automotive Sector Skill Council, Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council, Central Square Foundation (CSC), Educational Initiatives Pvt. Ltd, Oxford University Press India, Logistics Sector Skill Council, Furniture and Fittings Sector Skill Council, Life Sciences Sector Skill Council, Textiles Sector Skill Council and the Healthcare Sector Skill Council.
Under National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), 3 MoUs were signed dealing with Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC), Common Service Centres (CSC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
MoUs were also being signed between IBM and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Along with this, under the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), 20 MoUs were signed dealing with the Department of School Education.
The remaining MoUs have been signed for higher education and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
