Sisodia: Delhi govt school students to not pay any exam fees

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia recently announced that Delhi government and aided school students will not have to pay any fees for Class X & XII CBSE examinations as the cost will be born by the city dispensation.

Following an announcement of a fee hike by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the decision was taken by the Delhi government. The Delhi government is in discussion with CBSE to roll back the fee hike, said by Sisodia.

Delhi government refused to pay exam fees and is still discussing on fee rollback hike as the CBSE board asked Delhi government to ensure that the burden of fee hike to be not born by the students.
