The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has released the SSLC results for 2024. Students who took the exams can check and download their scorecards from the official websites, dge.tn.nic.in and tnresults.nic.in. This year, in 2024, Ariyalur became the top-performing district, with Sivagangai coming in second and Ramanathapuram ranking third.
Students can view their results by entering their roll number and date of birth found on their TN hall tickets. This year, the TNDGE board held the SSLC exams from March 26 to April 8, 2024, using traditional pen-and-paper methods. The TNDGE board conducted the Class 10 exams at more than 3,986 examination centers across the state. In 2023, the overall pass rate for the TN Class 10th general examination was 91.39%, up from 90.07% the previous year. Despite this improvement, 23,971 students did not pass the exam.
Students must visit their respective schools to collect their original mark sheets a few days after the 2024 results are announced.
To view the Board Result 2024 online, students will need their roll code and roll number. Details regarding the supplementary exams will be provided following the declaration of the TNDGE results. To pass the 2023 Tamil Nadu SSLC board exams, a student must achieve a minimum of 35 marks in each subject. Recently, the Tamil Nadu education board also released the Class 12 HSE results, showing that approximately 94.56% of students passed the +2 exams. Thirupur was the highest performing district with a 97.45% pass rate, followed by Sivagangai, Erode, Ariyalur, and Coimbatore.
