“Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of our children, and with this recruitment, we are strengthening our education system”, said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
CM Revanth Reddy participated in a special event at LB Stadium to distribute appointment letters to newly recruited teachers through the DSC 2024. The event marked a significant moment for hundreds of aspiring educators who successfully secured jobs in the education sector.
Addressing the gathering, CM Revanth Reddy said, “It is your responsibility to provide quality education to the children of Telangana State and elevate the standards of students.” He recalled his own educational journey in government schools and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing infrastructure and resources in public education.
CM expressed his commitment to improving the education system in Telangana state. He emphasized the government’s efforts in filling teacher vacancies to ensure quality education for students across the state.
The Chief Minister personally handed over the appointment letters to several teachers, congratulating them on their achievement. He encouraged the new recruits to dedicate themselves to their profession and contribute to the development of future generations.
CM Reddy highlighted the long standing demand for job creation in Telangana, criticizing previous administration for failing to address unemployment. He pointed out that the DSC notification was delayed by three years, leading to a two-year wait for job appointments in 2019.
“We promised that you will get jobs only if the jobs of father (KCR) and son (KTR) are destroyed. As per the word given, we have initiated job placements today,” he stated.
CM emphasized that within just 90 days of coming to power, his government has provided 30,000 job appointment documents and was now issuing 10,006 teacher recruitment papers within 65 days of the DSC notification. The role of government schools is crucial in the reconstruction of Telangana, CM added.
CM further said that plans to establish Young India Residential Schools with an investment of Rs 125 crores in each constituency were also announced, with construction set to begin on October 11. Additionally CM shared the government’s initiatives to upgrade it is and create employment opportunities for the youth.
The event was attended by senior officials from the education department, alongside the newly appointed teachers and their families. The distribution of appointment letters was a celebratory occasion, as it not only highlighted the government’s focus on education but also provided new opportunities for employment in the state.
