Skillzo, a pioneering student-led platform founded by 18-year-old Adarsh Kumar, has secured seed funding from a host of prominent investors including DOT Media founders Shubham Singhal, Vaibhav, and OM; Dr Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, Chairperson of Mahi NAREDCO and former CEO of DLF, Emaar MGF & Damac Properties; Rahul Bapat (Tokyo, Japan); Chanakya Shah, Founder & CEO of Holistique Business Consulting; and Priya Shah, a veteran in real estate financing.
Founded when Adarsh was just 15 and studying in Class 10, Skillzo is now transforming how Indian teens access real-world learning. Currently in Class 12 at Jayshree Periwal High School in Jaipur, Adarsh’s journey began in Motihari, Bihar, and has taken him through Kota, Chandigarh, and Gurgaon, eventually earning a full scholarship in Jaipur.
Skillzo is a free platform that offers entrepreneurship programmes, workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and a vibrant student community. Its mission: to upskill one million students across “Bharat” by bridging opportunity gaps with practical exposure and support.
Adarsh shared, “This funding validates our mission to offer every student access to opportunities regardless of their background. With this backing, we’ll scale Skillzo’s impact exponentially.”
