On 9th May, the Class 12, Higher Secondary (HS), result for 2024 was announced by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The HS scorecards of the Assam board will be available for access on the official AHSEC website given HERE. Out of the total of 273,908 students who took the HS exam, 242,794 students passed successfully, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.64%.
The pass percentages by stream are as follows:
- Arts: 88.24%
- Science: 90.29%
- Commerce: 88.28%
- Vocational: 85.78%
The Assam Class 12 examination for this year took place between February 12 and March 13, 2024. It was divided into two shifts: the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The practical examination was held from January 24 to February 8, 2024.
