The enrollment of women in Engineering, Science, and Technology in India at 42 %

India has shifted its stand from women empowerment to women-led development, says PM Narendra Modi.

The enrollment of women in the fields of science, technology, and engineering in India has rose to 42 percent, which is higher than the percentage of women enrolling in the same fields in developed countries like United States. India has moved from the point of women development to women led development.

70 percent of the beneficiaries of the Mudra loan are women. With the help of this loan, women have been able to increase the earnings of their families and open new economic avenues for the nation. The vision of making unicorns in self help groups has been brought by the government in the budget this year.

Women have been involving and showcasing their power in various fields. With their decision making abilities, women have played a pivotal role in increasing the speed and scale of India’s progress. India is looking forward to take women led development to the global stage and it is one of the significant topics at the G-20 Summit.
