The International Day of Families was first celebrated in May, 1994.

Do you know, the largest family in the world is that of Ziona Chana’s. There are 181 members right now in the family. Although Ziona is no more, his wives, children and grandchildren are alive and thriving! The family won the Guinness Book of World Records for being the “world’s largest existing family”. Currently the Chanas live in Mizoram in a four-storeyed building that almost looks like a boarding!
