For me, a TEACHER means: (T) Teaches (E) Encourages (A) Activates children to do better (C) Consistently stands with children (H) Highly committed (E) Ever ready for help (R) Resourceful
A great nation is built by a teacher within the four walls of a classroom. A teacher is considered a guide, mentor, creator, implementer, and upholder of various rules and regulations for the welfare of the child. A teacher enters this profession with the sole purpose of serving mankind, shaping minds much like the potter molds clay, and in the process, both teacher and student shape each other.
A committed teacher will be remembered forever, even after many years, because they touch the hearts of their students while they teach. No matter what technology is introduced in education, a teacher cannot be replaced by so-called modern technology.
I don’t believe there has been any change in the ‘Guru–Shishya’ relationship. A teacher bears the responsibility of bringing out the best in every child in their classroom, which truly justifies the noble profession of teaching.
All those in the teaching profession should feel proud and honored because they contribute to creating a better society for the nation. Teaching instills in us a sense of open-hearted kindness, sacrifice, and a mindset ready to accept even in challenging situations, demanding a great deal of patience.
Let us teach with love and passion for young children, helping each child learn to experience love for themselves, their society, and their nation.
