According to Danish Azad Ansari, the Minister of State for Minority Welfare in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has initiated a pioneering pilot project to introduce artificial intelligence teaching modules in madrasas. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide students with knowledge of this emerging technology and align these educational institutions with mainstream advancements. As part of this effort, the government has launched a unique program to offer insights into promising future technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to students in madrasas. A special campaign was inaugurated on October 4 to kickstart this endeavor.

To facilitate AI introduction into schools, the Uttar Pradesh government had established the website www.teamupai.org. This website serves as a valuable resource for accessing information about artificial intelligence, its potential impact on various aspects of human life in the future, and opportunities for employment. According to Minister Ansari, modules related to AI are taught daily through the website, guided by an expert. These lessons are shared with approximately 16,000 madrasas across the state, with live-streamed classes made available.
