Let’s dive in!

Q. How does RHPS integrate education beyond academics to ensure all-around development for students?

At RHPS, we believe education goes beyond academics. Our goal is to provide opportunities that cultivate young minds and prepare them for tomorrow’s challenges. We empower students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers. Through a balanced combination of academics and extracurricular activities, we focus on inculcating strong values like justice and truth. Co-curricular activities such as inter-house competitions foster team spirit, leadership, and creativity. We want to develop our students holistically, making them well-rounded individuals ready to navigate an ever-evolving global society.

Q. Can you share your approach towards STEM education and its significance at your school?

STEM education is a key focus at our school. Our science laboratories are highly sophisticated and equipped to meet curriculum requirements in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These facilities provide students with hands-on experience, fostering their scientific curiosity and critical thinking skills. Additionally, computer education is an integral part of our curriculum. From Class I onwards, students are introduced to computing, ensuring they are well-prepared for the digital age. We recognize that STEM education is vital in preparing students to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world and develop problem-solving abilities that will serve them throughout life.

Q. How does your school nurture parental involvement in the education journey of students?

We believe in a strong school-home partnership, which is fundamental to student success. At RHPS, we actively engage parents in their child’s education journey, emphasizing the importance of working together to create a supportive learning environment. Regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and involvement in school activities ensure that parents are informed and involved. We maintain transparency and keep parents updated on their child’s progress and any issues that arise. This partnership ensures a cohesive approach to nurturing students’ academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.

Q. How important are extracurricular activities and sports in shaping student development at your school?

Extracurricular activities and sports play a crucial role in our educational philosophy. Sports are essential for physical development, promoting discipline, teamwork, and a constructive attitude towards life. At our school, we offer a wide range of sports such as Taekwondo, Cricket, Volleyball, and Basketball, all coached by specialists. Our house system further nurtures team spirit and healthy competition through inter-house games and co-curricular activities. These programs are designed to help students develop leadership, resilience, and creativity, making them well-rounded individuals prepared to face future challenges confidently.

Q. What safety and security measures are in place at the school to ensure a safe environment for students?

The safety and security of our students are of utmost priority. The school is equipped with over 144 functional CCTV cameras that monitor every vulnerable point, ensuring a secure environment. Entry into the school is strictly controlled, with staff, visitors, and parents required to wear identification cards at all times. We maintain separate washrooms for students, teachers, and support staff, with proper supervision in place. Regular safety meetings are held, and bullying or any kind of harassment is not tolerated. Through these measures, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Q. How does the House system contribute to the holistic development of students at your school?

The House system at RHPS is a vital part of our approach to holistic education. Students are divided into four houses: Himalaya, Nilgiri, Vindhya, and Aravalli, each led by house captains and prefects responsible for discipline and activities. Inter-house competitions in sports and co-curricular activities promote healthy competition, teamwork, and leadership. Points are awarded for excellence in various competitions, and the house with the highest score is honoured as the ‘Best House of the Year.’ This system encourages collaboration, leadership, and a sense of belonging, helping students develop essential life skills beyond academics.
