Schools in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi reopened today after an extended summer vacation. Originally, the summer vacation in Uttar Pradesh was scheduled to end on June 27, but it was prolonged due to the high temperatures. However, the reopening date was later changed to July 3, following a meeting led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Both private and government schools in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have now resumed classes. The decision to extend the vacation was taken to protect children from the risk of heatstroke. Office orders have stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in school facilities, ensuring access to drinking water, and providing suitable seating arrangements for students.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh administration has planned a special inspection campaign in schools to assess essential amenities. Between July 5 and July 31, government officials will evaluate factors such as clean drinking water, mid-day meals, toilets, and the implementation of academic programs.

This campaign aims to ensure the smooth functioning of council schools, madrasas, and aided schools in the state. The government’s inspection efforts are intended to guarantee that schools have basic necessities and adhere to academic guidelines. The focus is on providing clean drinking water, nutritious mid-day meals, and adequate toilet facilities for students.

By evaluating these aspects, the administration aims to uphold the quality of education and create an optimal learning environment for children.
