UPMSP warned students and parents of fraudulent calls

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a warning to students and parents about fraudulent phone calls. The board said that there’s a possibility of students and their parents receiving calls promising to enhance their marks in the Uttar Pradesh board Class 10 and Class 12 exams. UPMSP urged students and parents to be cautious and report any such calls to the board.

The Uttar Pradesh board conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 exams from February 22 to March 9, 2024 in two sessions – morning and afternoon.

A total of 55,25,308 candidates registered for the 2024 exams, with 29,47,311 candiadates, registered for the high school examination and 25,77,997 candidates, for the intermediate examination.

As per UP Board data, this year, a total of 94,802 examiners were tasked with evaluating 1.76 crore answer sheets for the high school examination, while 52,295 examiners were assigned to evaluate 1.25 crore answer sheets for the class 12 exams.

The 2024 result evaluation process of the UP Board, completed, took place across 131 evaluation centers for high school answer sheets and 116 centers for class 12 exams. Among the total 260 evaluation centers, 83 were government-aided, and 177 were non-government aided secondary schools, serving as evaluation centers.
