The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will announce the results for class 10 and 12 on April 20, 2024. After the results are declared, students will be able to check their inter results on the official websites. Matric and intermediate students will need to enter their roll number and date of birth to view their scorecards.
Once the results are out, students can view the UP board class 12 results on the official UPMSP website — upmsp.edu.in, as well as on the NIC website — upresults.nic.in.
To view their scorecard, UP Board candidates should click to the “Examination Results” section on the homepage and then select “Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2024”. Next, they should choose their respective stream (Science, Commerce, Arts, or Vocational), and input their roll number and roll code in the provided fields.
In 2023, the class 12 overall pass rate was 75.52 percent, with girls achieving an 83 percent pass rate and boys achieving a 69.34 percent pass rate. The overall pass rate for Class 10 was 89.78 percent.
After clicking on ‘submit’, the scorecard will appear on the screen. It’s suggested to download and save the scorecard for future reference.
According to the official data released, 2024, saw a total of 25,60,882 students taking the UP board exams, with 11,48,076 be girls and 4,12,806 boys. The exams were conducted in 7,864 exam centers throughout the state. Additionally, there were reports of an alleged paper leak this time. However, the UP Board denied the claims of any paper leak.
Dibyakant Shukla, the secretary of the UP Board, stated that the question paper was shared on a WhatsApp group named ‘All Principles Agra’ around 3:10 pm by an individual named Vinay Choudhary, an hour after the exam had commenced.
