UPSC Civil Services 2018

Online World is going La –La after UPSC result has been declared and people love the pain, struggle and success behind each topper life. Some talk about the preparation style and daily schedule and other attempting previous question and mock test for consistent performance. A feeling of overwhelming happiness and seeing your hard work being paid off is the most wonderful experience of anyone life. It is a mix of many emotions and probably cries at last.

Preparing for civil services seems like a colossal task. There is always the creation of a single matter happened two times in the world, first in your mind and then in the physical world. And such works are seen among these people.

A resident from Jaipur, Rajasthan and an IIT alumnus who cracked the exam in the first attempt, belongs to SC category and qualified the examination with mathematics as his optional subject. He has 5 years of work experience and previously worked as a Software Engineer with Samsung Electronics (2014-2016). As of now, he is working in qplum as a Data Scientist (2016-2019). His father is also an IAS Officer of Rajasthan Cadre and currently posted as Director cum Joint Secretary at Social Justice and Empowerment Department. In his statement to news agency ANI “It’s a very surprising moment. I never expected to get the 1st rank. I thank my parents, sister & my girlfriend for help & moral support. People will expect me to be a good administrator & that’s exactly my intention.”

Akshat Jain, Graduate from IIT Guwahati, AIR-2

He took the first attempt after graduation in July 2017 and his father, Mr D C Jain, is now the Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), New Delhi and mother, Mrs Simmi Jain, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer is the ADG of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in Jaipur. His younger brother is in colleges in the USA.

Junaid Ahmad, from Sharda University, AIR – 3

A resident of Nagina town in Bijnor and it was the fifth attempt, last year he got 352 ranks. His father, Javed Husain is a lawyer and mother Aisha Raza an advocate by profession. He says the information available on the internet contributed a lot for his success. He has immense interest in cricket and loves reading books. His younger brother is in Class 12.
