Uttar Pradesh schools changed timings due to cold wave

The school timings in Uttar Pradesh have been modified by the state government in response to the ongoing cold wave conditions. The director of secondary education issued an order, secondary classes in UP schools, affiliated with all boards, will now run from 10 am to 3 pm for up to Class 12, instead of the previous timing of 8:50 am to 2:50 pm.

Until further instructions are provided, these adjusted timings will be followed. The school timings in certain regions of Uttar Pradesh had been previously altered as well.

In Ghaziabad, Classes 1 to 8 were scheduled to commence at 10 am and conclude at 3 pm, and this is also applicable to schools in Mathura. Furthermore, the state government had declared school holidays for all boards in Aligarh on both December 28 and 29.
