Vineet Joshi appointed first DG of National Testing Agency

In the midst of the CBSE papers leak row, the central government appointed bureaucrat Vineet Joshi as the first Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

NTA is expected to conduct entrance examinations for higher educational institutions and organised by the AICTE and CBSE and other bodies.

Vineet Joshi’s appointment comes in the midst of the CBSE papers leak row.

Joshi is a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre.
