WBCHSE Suggests a Two-Part Format for Class 12 Board Exams

by admin

WBCHSE has suggested to conduct class 12 board exams in two-parts from the academic session 2025-26. The exam would be conducted in November and in March as proposed. The first exam, scheduled in November would be an objective one, as said by the President of WBCHSE, Chiranjib Bhattacharya.

For this exam, students would be given OMR sheets. The second exam on the other hand would be a descriptive one. The final marks would be an average of both the exams. This measure will be taken to prevent students from being complacent for scoring high in the first exam. The decision has been made in accordance with the state’s latest education policy.
