WBCS executive examination 2022

The West Bengal public service commission has issued a notice opening the portal for the WBCS Executive Examinations 2022. Candidates can apply for the examination by visiting their website.

Candidates should keep in mind that submitting more than one application will result in the cancellation of their candidature. According to the notice, the exam will be held in various centres in Kolkata and certain other districts in West Bengal, in the month of May tentatively.

Following are some of the important dates for the WBCS executive examinations 2022:

The portal for the submission of applications opens on 3.03.2022. The last date of submission is 24.03.2022 midnight. The last date of submission of the fee through the online mode of payment is also 24.03.2022 midnight while the last date of fee payment through the offline mode is 25.03.2022 The edit window will be open from 1st to 7th April 2022.

Following are the prerequisites for applying for the WBCS Executive Examinations 2022. The candidates must have
1. A degree from a recognized university.
2. The ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for candidates with Nepali as their mother tongue)
3. He/She should submit the application within the closing date

Following are the age criteria for taking the exams in 2022

Candidates between 21 and 36 years can apply. SC/ST candidates will get a 5 year relaxation in age limit. BC non-creamy layer will get a relaxation of 3 years. For PwD candidates, the upper age limit is 45 years. The website has published that the SC/ST/BC of other states will be considered for the unreserved posts only.
