“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be
that women are the exception.” ― Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Women empowerment mainly refers to making women independent so that they can make their own decisions and manage their lives without any familial or social restrictions. In simple words, it empowers women to take responsibility for their personal and social development.
I Sheenam Samuel work as a Principal, I have seen women moving forward in the field of education and the contribution of women in the field of education is so much that it cannot be described in words. But Women empowerment and women’s education, change is also necessary. In the present times, women’s education is very important. Just as a person needs oxygen to live life, in the same way, if a country has to develop, first of all, it is very important for the women there to be educated.
If women are educated, then they will be aware of their rights, so that they will be able to move forward in society. If we see it from the family point of view then women’s education is very important. It is said that the first teacher of any man is his mother. If the woman is educated, she will always try to educate her child which will help in his/her character development. She will inspire her child to contribute to society and the Nation. Women can also support themselves financially and their families by working hard like men in any field.
Women’s education is of utmost importance in society, if women are educated then their participation in society increases everywhere. If a woman is educated then a positive aspect of her will come out in society and she can become a participant in every decision of society. By contributing significantly to building a good society, it can work to advance society.
I feel that despite India being a male-dominated country, the contribution of women in every field of society is commendable. If I talk about my personal and personal life, I feel that despite India being a male-dominated country, it is difficult for the country to run without the empowerment of women. Not only is the running of the country but also the progress of any sector difficult.
On this International Women’s Day, I congratulate all the women of the world Happy International Women’s Day and hope that they get the respect, place, value etc. they deserve.
