Women are more compassionate and very organized, whether it is political or corporate. Indira Nooyi or Nirmala Sitharaman, women are making their presence felt in all spheres. Women are more ethical and straightforward. In decisions too, they negotiate better and make bold decisions. Nowadays, women are getting enough leadership roles.
Nurturing young minds has always fascinated me and it has been my vision as the kids are the future of our country. I used to pass-by a preschool on my route to college and got fascinated seeing their happy faces. In 2014, I started my own preschool and ever since there is no looking back.
I extended my passion by joining CavinKare’s education wing since 2016 in our chain of preschools CK CONFIDENT KIDS and CK SCHOOL OF PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION (CBSE). In 2018, I started leading CK School of Practical Knowledge (Matr.hr.sec), CBSE & preschools, Cuddalore and everyday has been a great learning experience for me.
After visiting pre-schools in India and abroad, I started putting together the best practices from different streams of education like – Montessori, multiple intelligence, play way method to make learning fun and enjoyable. I was very clear that it should not be the usual method, but at the same time the foundation must be really strong. I did the same thing for my CBSE school. Children were given opportunity to learn. My school is providing a platform for young scientists, musicians, entrepreneurs and other professionals through our practical knowledge way of approach.
The other important learning from this experience is that I need to be unique and also stay relevant to the demography that I am into. This is something that I kept in mind while designing the curriculum. is power. We have Fine Arts, Business Module Classes, Communication Skills, AI, Robotics and Sports which we term it as Practical knowledge is power. CK Matriculation, CK CBSE and CK engineering college have Artificial Intelligence and Automation as part of their curriculum. Students create products and do coding, we have been able to create products thereby we were able to automate schools or Government offices.
