Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has announced that the Young India Police School will be developed to meet international standards, comparable to leading private international schools.
Students at this institution will not only achieve academic excellence but will also receive specialised training aimed at helping them succeed in various aspects of life, he said.
Sridhar Babu highlighted that the school is designed to provide equal educational opportunities for all children, ranging from the offspring of Home Guards to those of high-ranking police officials, during his address at the inauguration of the Young India Police School in Manchirevula, Narsingi, on Thursday.
He noted that Telangana is unique in establishing a school dedicated solely to the children of police personnel, a distinction that has not been achieved anywhere else in the country. “Today is a momentous occasion,” he remarked.
Sridhar Babu reaffirmed the State government’s strong commitment to the welfare of police personnel and shared that in the next decade, efforts will be focused on making Young India Police School one of the premier educational institutions in the nation.
“Our government prioritizes education and healthcare,” stated Sridhar Babu. “We are dedicated to upgrading public schools to align with the standards of private institutions,” he said.
The Minister added that students at Young India Police School will be developed into responsible and capable citizens. He expressed sincere appreciation from the State government to the generous donors who are backing this initiative, emphasizing that it aims to engage all stakeholders in the school’s growth and to transform it into a model institution.
