TagHive’s Class Saathi is becoming the digital learning and assessment platform of choice for over 120 government schools across UP, setting the context for PM Sri schools

In a recently launched campaign, TagHive also felicitated 15 government school teachers for increasing learning outcomes and student engagement through Class Saathi learning app 5 th December 2022, Varanasi: Class Saathi, a clicker-based classroom response system and an AI-powered self-assessment solution, was implemented 120 government schools across 4 blocks in the Varanasi district, in collaboration with Progressive Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the SCERT. Created by TagHive, a Samsung backed ed-tech firm, the Class Saathi app and clicker have transformed the learning experience for students from grade 6 to 8 across these government schools and is accelerating the Government of India and PM Modi’s vision of digital learning. Through their recent on- ground campaign, ‘Mera Saathi School Aaya’, TagHive recently felicitated 15 government school teachers who were instrumental in increasing learning outcomes for students through the Class Saathi app, further driving impact and change on the grass root level.

Since its launch, TagHive’s Class Saathi app has recorded a fast-paced growth, especially across government schools,expanding from 10 schools to 1800+ schools across India in the past one year. In UP, with the support of the State Council for Education Research and Training, the Class Saathi Remote Learning solution has been helping teachers and students to access digital assessments and in-class room engagement that haves transformed the learning experience in these government schools.

Currently, the Indian education system is still strongly leaning towards the exam method, even though COVID-19 has exacerbated learning gaps for all students across demographics. Speaking about the success of the app and the vision of TagHive to make digital learning accessible for students across the country, Mr Pankaj Agarwal, Founder and CEO, TagHive, said, “I am extremely happy to see the enthusiastic response that our Class Saathi app has been getting from students and teachers alike. As part of the campaign, 15 teachers from 120 schools across UP like Greater Noida, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Mughal Sarai, Amroha, Baneras and Patiyali were felicitated in a ceremony in Varanasi. These teachers were recognised as top performing influencers who not only increased learning outcomes of their students, but also instilled practice of independent learning. The event was attended by TagHive’s team including members flying from South Korea ,and Area Resource Personnel from UP Government as well as the Director and Assistant to the Director, State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), UP, along with Mr Pankaj Agarwal, Founder and CEO, TagHive Inc.

Speaking about their work in UP, Mr. Agarwal added, “Out of the hundreds of teachers using Class Saathi, these ‘Super Teachers’ are our champions who are actively working towards Class Saathi implementation and supporting us on the ground by being our ambassadors. We are deeply moved and honoured by their selfless dedication and hard work.”
