The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 Board Examinations 2026 will begin on February 12, with Psychology as the first paper. The examinations will continue until April 6, according to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
Around 1.5 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 12 board exams this year. The ISC Class 12 curriculum comprises 50 subjects, while the ICSE (Class 10) level includes 75 subjects.
Exam Day Guidelines
Students have been advised to carry their admit cards to the examination centre, as entry will not be permitted without them. Candidates are also required to report to their centres at least 30 minutes before the scheduled examination time.
The ISC theory examinations will begin at 2 pm and will be conducted for a duration of three hours. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam to read the question paper.
Psychology Exam Pattern
For the ISC Class 12 Psychology Examination 2026, the assessment will comprise a 70-mark theory paper and 30 marks for project work, making a total of 100 marks.

Following the Psychology examination, ISC Class 12 English Paper 1 is scheduled to be held on February 13.
