The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the datesheet for 2024 board exams for classes 10 and 12. Next year, the exams will begin from February 15, 2024 and end on April 10, 2024. Students can check the dates on the board’s official website: cbse.gov.in. The exams will stretch for 55 days. In the notification, CBSE stated, “all the organizations holding any examination are requested to fix the dates of their examinations keeping in view the schedule of board examinations.”
The pass percentage of this year’s board exam was 87.33 percent for class 12 and 93.12 percent for class 10. This year, the exams were conducted between February 15th and March 21st for class 10 and between February 15th to April 5th for class 12. The results for the same was declared on May 12, 2023. Over 16 lakh and 21 lakh students appeared for class 12 and class 10 board exams respectively this year. Girls secured higher pass percentage in both secondary and senior secondary exams.
