A global consortium led by EQT, alongside Neuberger Berman Private Markets, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Corporación Financiera Alba (CF Alba), and Dubai Holding Investments, has successfully completed the acquisition of Nord Anglia Education for $14.5 billion.
Nord Anglia, a leader in private international education, operates over 80 schools across 33 countries, educating more than 90,000 students. The institution is renowned for its personalised learning approach, ensuring tailored teaching methods that enhance student success. Its graduates consistently secure placements in top global universities.
The acquisition strengthens Nord Anglia’s ownership structure by introducing a distinguished group of financial asset managers, including sovereign wealth funds, insurers, and family offices from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. This diverse investor base enhances the company’s long-term stability, strategic resources, and capital for future growth.
