NIOS has issued the revised timetable for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2026. The earlier schedule was changed because several papers in Bihar had to be postponed due to the Bihar Assembly Elections and related administrative requirements.
NIOS had planned to hold Class 12 exams for Physics, History, Environmental Science and Library and Information Science, and the Class 10 Painting exam on November 6. These papers were cancelled because of the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The new timetable includes updated dates for students in Bihar, Odisha’s Nuapada region and certain subjects for learners across the country.
Revised dates
Bihar only
On November 29, 2025 (Saturday).
• Senior Secondary: Biology (314), Introduction to Law (338) and Military History (375) from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
• Secondary: Accountancy (320), Urdu (206), Sanskrit (209) and Bodh Darshan (241) from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
• Indian Sign Language (230) for Secondary: 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Bihar and Nuapada (Odisha)
On December 1, 2025 (Monday).
• Senior Secondary: Mathematics (311) and Veda Adhyayan (345) from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
• Secondary: English (202) from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
All India
On December 2, 2025 (Tuesday).
• Senior Secondary: Physics (312) from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
• Secondary: Painting (225), History (315), Environmental Science (333) and Library and Information Science (339) from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
