The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an Integrated Payment System (IPS) to manage payments for Class 12 practical exams.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rolled out a new Integrated Payment System (IPS) to simplify and speed up payments related to Class 12 practical examinations for the academic year 2024–25. Under this system, remuneration and other exam-related expenses will be processed exclusively through the IPS platform.

Schools have been instructed to log into the IPS portal at the earliest and complete all required data entry. CBSE has stressed that principals must personally verify the bank account details of examiners, observers, and other functionaries before submitting the information to avoid errors.

According to the board’s official circular, any inaccuracies in entering bank account details could result in payments being credited to the wrong person. In such cases, the concerned principal will be held accountable, and the wrongly disbursed amount will be recovered directly from the school.

The directive further highlights that no examiner or observer’s information should be left incomplete, and all details must be checked with utmost care before finalisation.

By implementing IPS, CBSE aims to ensure a more transparent, efficient, and error-free process for handling payments during the Class 12 practical examinations.
