As 2025 draws to a close, Ms Kavita Kerawalla, Vice Chairperson of VIBGYOR Group of Schools, reflects on the dynamic changes within the education sector. In her statement, Ms Kerawalla highlights the rapid evolution of learning environments, shaped by the growing emphasis on collaboration, the integration of technology, and a stronger focus on student wellbeing, inclusion, and purpose-driven learning.
She notes, “Classrooms today are being shaped by greater collaboration, thoughtful use of technology, and a deeper emphasis on student wellbeing, inclusion, and purpose-driven learning. There is a growing recognition that preparing children for the future means helping them develop adaptability, critical thinking, and a strong sense of self, alongside academic rigour.”
Looking back on the past year, Ms Kerawalla has been inspired by the resilience and curiosity demonstrated by students. “It has been inspiring to see students embrace these shifts with curiosity and confidence, demonstrating a willingness to learn beyond textbooks,” she adds, acknowledging the growing recognition of the importance of holistic learning.
Looking ahead, Ms Kerawalla emphasises the importance of fostering learning environments that encourage personal growth, responsibility, and compassion. “As we step into the new year, the focus remains on creating learning environments that are supportive and forward-looking, where every child is encouraged to grow into a responsible, compassionate, and confident individual.”
